• Flood risk — Vega Baja plain: La Marina sits in one of the flattest, most flood-prone areas of the Costa Blanca south. Autumn DANA events can produce rapid surface flooding. • Community insurance — near-universal requirement: the vast majority of La Marina’s properties form part of a comunidad sharing pools, access roads or communal gardens. The Ley de Propiedad Horizontal makes community insurance compulsory. We arrange Generali community policies for all La Marina comunidades.
• Seasonal and semi-resident occupancy: many La Marina residents spend part of the year in the UK. Standard policies may limit or exclude cover during extended vacancies (typically 30–60 days). We arrange the correct unoccupancy terms for each client’s specific situation.
