Turner Insurance Specialists, S.L. ("Turner Insurance", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why, the legal basis for processing it, who we share it with and the rights you have, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

2. What data we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:
- Identification and contact data: name, email address, telephone number and postcode.
- Quote and policy data: the insurance product you are interested in and the details you give us about the person, property, vehicle or business to be insured.
- Special-category and financial data: where you request health, life or similar cover, the information needed to arrange it (which may include health-related details) — processed only with your explicit consent and as necessary to arrange the contract you request.
- Technical data: your IP address and, with your consent, analytics data (see our Cookie Policy).
3. Why we process your data and the legal basis
- To respond to your quote request and enquiries — your consent and pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR).
- To arrange and administer insurance as exclusive agent of Generali — performance of a contract and our legal obligations as an insurance intermediary (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c)).
- Special-category (e.g. health) data — your explicit consent and the arrangement, exercise or defence of the insurance and any legal claims (Art. 9(2)(a) and (f)).
- To comply with legal obligations — insurance distribution, tax, accounting and anti-money-laundering law (Art. 6(1)(c)).
- Website analytics — your consent, which you may withdraw at any time (Art. 6(1)(a)).
4. Who we share your data with
We share data only as needed to provide the service you request:
- Generali Espana, S.A. de Seguros y Reaseguros and, where relevant, other insurers or reinsurers, to provide quotes and arrange cover.
- Service providers (such as IT, email and hosting) acting as data processors under contract.
- Public authorities where required by law.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not transfer it outside the European Economic Area except, where you consent to analytics, to Google (see the Cookie Policy), subject to appropriate safeguards.
5. How long we keep your data
We keep quote-enquiry data for as long as needed to handle your request and our relationship with you. Where a policy is arranged, we keep the related data for the life of the policy and afterwards for the periods required by insurance, tax and anti-money-laundering law (generally up to 6–10 years). After that it is securely deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing carried out beforehand). To exercise these rights, email info@turnerinsurance.es with proof of identity. You also have the right to complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), www.aepd.es.
7. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted (HTTPS) transmission of everything you send through this website. No method of transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information at all times.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with its "last updated" date.
